Baths are excellent for your health
Baths are not just great for weight loss. They’re also great for your health overall. Baths improve circulation and lower blood pressure. They can also boost immunity and fight off a cold or flu.
If you have sore or tight spots, a long hot soak will relieve them.
Perhaps best off all, baths open your pores, giving your skin that gorgeous, dewy glow right before bedtime. (It’s your choice what you’re going to do with that glow!)And when we feel healthy, we’re more motivated to stay on track with our diet.
Baths encourage a good night’s sleep
Bathing will calm you, disconnecting you from technology and information
overload. The steam will help clear your lungs, improving the quality of your sleep. You’ll also sleep soundly through the night after you’ve soaked away your aches and pains.
Not only will your bath relax your body and mind, but did you know that getting out of the bath actually helps you get to sleep?
When the cool air hits your warm skin, your pineal gland will release the hormone melatonin, which in turn will help you to drift off to sleep.
Melatonin has also been linked to the relief of mild anxiety, stress, and tension. And we all like the sound of that right before bedtime!
